Duran Duran, I'm Coming for You

It's official: I'm attending not one, not two, but THREE Duran Duran shows at the end of next month. One in LA, one in Las Vegas, and, finally, one in San Diego! Could I be more excited?!!? I think not. I found this online when I was searching for Duranie stuff. How did I not make this scrapbook myself? It's totally my same story (although if this girl wants to fight for my Nick, it is ON. Girlfriend better back off. He's mine, as everyone already knows. Hello).

Pinky's Fandance - Kathy Valentine

Seriously, if you'd asked me this morning to pick The Go-Go's out of a line-up, the only one I'd have been able to pick out would've been Belinda. Maybe Jane, but, no, really only Belinda. However, after they received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today, I can successfully spot them all! Here's their latest promo pic. From left to right it's Charlotte Coffey, Gina Schock, Jane Wiedlin, Kathy Valentine, and Belinda Carlisle.

By far, the nicest one of them all was...Belinda Carlisle! HA! Just kidding. No, sadly, she is probably the least friendly of them all. Bugger. Kathy Valentine, however, is a champ. It's not often I see someone walk into a small crowd of fans and collectors and actually say the words, "Does anyone need anything signed?" Um, seriously? Who does that? It was amazing! Of course, they SHOULD do things like that - especially on such a momentous day - but, well, whatever. Kathy, you are the BEST. Kudos to you!

Zazzle SUCKS

I would like to officially rescind my previous praise of the website www.zazzle.com and go on record as saying this website SUCKS. Seriously, they've got some serious problems. It's probably for the best, as I was thoroughly enjoying their site and thinking I'd most likely be spending every paycheck there. As it turns out, I don't know that I'll ever shop there again.

Why am I so bitter? Well, I ended up caving and buying my "Team Nick Rhodes" shirt and was SO excited to get it - until I received an email saying my order was cancelled because my design wasn't approved. Um, what now? This wasn't MY design - it was a shirt I found on THEIR site. I didn't advertise it, nor was there any indication that if I ordered it I'd be shot down at a future time. Isn't that false advertising? I should be rewarded for the emotional distress they've caused as I'm SO sad. Plus, they're keeping my money for like two weeks. What gives? Jerks!

I Heart Nick Rhodes

Yesterday after a delish lunch with Lindsay from http://www.iamnotastalker.com/ (thanks for coming up!), she told me about a site called http://www.zazzle.com/ where you can buy custom items. Of course I did a quick little search for Duran Duran (specifically Nick Rhodes) and found the most amazing things:This magnet is a little hard to read, but it says, "I don't suffer from an addiction to Nick Rhodes - I enjoy every second of it!" I couldn't have said it better myself. :) This shirt is cute, but the Nick part is a little vague (especially considering that AFMF's real name *might* be the same as on the shirt).

See, this is more like it. I NEED this for my car!

Same thing here as the one before...I need Nick's last name on it!A-ha! The PERFECT shirt! Plus, you can even make it into a sweatshirt (which I would wear EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. rain or shine). Now, what can I sell in order to afford this amazing shirt and sweatshirt? Must. Have. Now.

After I save up for the shirt, I *might* need to get this amazing purse, as well! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Oh, and on a related note, did you know that if you type "I love Nick Rhodes" into Google and do an image search, yours truly comes up on the first two pages (not that I would EVER type "I love Nick Rhodes" into Google just to see what would happen....OK, I totally would)?!?! Yes, I know. I'm awesome. Also, destined for Nick (why doesn't he realize this yet?!!?).

Pinky's Fandance - Terrell Ransom, Jr.

Terrell Ransom, Jr. plays Lexie and Abe's son on Days of our Lives and he's just a little sweetie in person. His mother was probably wishing I wasn't there, though, because apparently Terrell has been wanting a puppy for a long time and playing with Sammy just made it worse.

Terrell LOVED Sammy - he played with him before, during, and after the event.

In fact, I think if he could've cloned Sammy and taken him home right then, he would've done so! Such a cute little boy.

McP and a Puppy

I received the cutest text from McP's dad, McB, the other night. Along with this adorable picture of the Pizzer, it said, "Always trying to be like Pinky." Isn't that the cutest thing you've ever seen?!?! Although, of course, I have no idea what he's talking about. Do I pose with some sort of dog a lot? Look how tiny Sammy was! Oh, wait. I do seem to have a few photos with him, huh? Strange.

OK, I'm guilty as charged. Everyone knows I love me some Sammy.
