Future World Cup Player?

Last week I had the chance to attend Little Miss Phoenix's soccer game. Between the quarters we decided to have a little photo session (because, let's face it, what's the fun of playing if you can't have everything documented?)However, my favorite part of the game came when Phoe was put in as the goalkeeper. I was able to get a few choice candid shots of Little Miss Distracted. Phoenix claims she's pulling up her shorts here, but I think we all know better than that.Apparently if you're not getting any action on your side of the field, dancing is in order.Always the motivated cheerleader, Phoe is thrilled her team scored a goal (although the game wasn't really scored, so I'm not sure what the point of it is).
Here's Phoe in action on the field, playing like a pro. You go, girl!

Love At First Pink

In case you haven't noticed, McP is getting so big I hardly recognize her. With all her talking, dancing, and being Miss Grown Up, it's hard to remember that she was once even tinier than McI. I found a few pictures from our first few times together. The picture on the left is the very first time I met Princess McP. It was around Halloween (hence the pumpkin outfit).

This was taken at Pyper's baby blessing. Obviously she felt right at home on the pink shirt and fell right asleep in the middle of all the commotion of people.

I took this picture right before my trip to Cali. I like how she's posing like a little hippie chick.

I'm not sure what McP is showing off here, but I'm sure it's something sparkly, Princess-related, or pink. Is there anything else worth showing off?

Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

Hello and welcome to Saturday's Cha-cha-cha and Rah-rah-rah edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Christina Ricci is obviously trying to get on Dancing with the Stars - what else would explain the cha-cha-cha dress?Lea Michele shouldn't stand all cutesy while wearing a see-through shirt and blatant black bra. At least the bottom of the cha-cha-cha dress is swishy.Rah-rah-rah - Bradley Cooper. How's it possible for someone to wear head-to-toe mismatched denim and still look like a million bucks? Now that takes some major skill.I can't stand to look at Katherine Heigl's hair for one more second, but at least she's wearing a cha-cha-cha skirt.
Oh, look. It's cha-cha-cha Barbie.

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

The Many Faces of David Spade

So, I realize the face David Spade is making in our picture is a bit, well, interesting. I mean, I suppose the argument could be made that he's getting ready to kiss me, but let's not get carried away. The people who were waiting at Kimmel with me told me that Spade always make silly faces in pictures - the pursed lips and peace sign/hand sign being his fave.
Obviously, he's rocking it in my picture. But, I was just some random fan. Would he do it with anyone important?Oh, look. Here he is with his daughter and he's rocking the look yet again. Shocking.Say what? Are you talking to me?Who loves you, baby?No need to seduce me with those eyes, lover, you know I'm already yours. Now, it should be noted that my love for David Spade is not only deep and true, but also long-lasting. I've loved him since he was the sarcastic receptionist on SNL and doing the Spade Minute and making fun of everyone. He kills me. Oh, and Tommy Boy? Genius. Now, don't worry about me being crazed and getting a David Spade tattoo, because that's insane even for me. Well, wait. What if it's his signature tattooed on my arm? That might work. :)

Why Was Principal Vernon There?

Hey, I'm just as stoked for any reunion from one of my beloved John Hughes films, but Mr. Vernon? Dick? Come on. Why was he invited? Anthony Michael-Hall certainly grew up to be a fine specimen of meet. No more geeky kid there. But where's Emilio or Judd? Come on, guys, it's not like you have anything better to do.

Prince of Persia: Two Thumbs Up

As bad as the movie Killers was (have I mentioned how terrible it was? I have? Well, it needs to repeated often), Prince of Persia was all that and a bag of chips. Seriously, it was a really good film. Inititally I didn't really have too much interest in seeing it, but the selections at the theater were slim to none, so Prince of Persia it was. Of course, it didn't hurt that the movie featured this beautiful sight: Jake Gyllenhaal shirtless? YES, please. Yum. He never really did it for me before, but a long-haired, shirtless Jake is something I'm definitely on-board with.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. "Oh, hey there, guys. We didn't even see you there. I'm sure you're just as surprised as we are to see paparrazzi hanging around to take pictures of our four-seater bicycle. What's that? You said someone called you and tipped you off where we'd be? That doesn't sound like something I would do....does it?"Nothing like going to your sister's graduation ceremony and blending into the crowd. Wipe that smile off your face, Katherine Heigl. Your hair is a world of NO. I think you've been watching way too many Jersey Shores episodes.Excuse me, sir, can you spare a dollar? Is someone actually hurting The Bieber as he's singing? Why is he in so much pain?

Top Five FAILS of the Day

Celebrity FAIL: Adam Sandler / Chris Rock / Rob Schneider

Another cool thing I was able to do while in California was to attend the Jimmy Kimmel show. Well, actually, I should clarify - I wasn't really at the show...I was waiting outside for the guests to come arrive/leave so I could meet them. I know, fun, right? Granted, it got a little long waiting, but it was worth it for the following reasons: Clark Duke just happened to walk by as we were waiting. WIN.Colin Farrell was a guest on the same day as Bradley Cooper (who didn't come over to greet his adoring fans...FAIL). Colin not only came over for autographs and pictures when he arrived, he also came back as he was leaving. WIN.Kevin James was a surprise guest on Friday when I was waiting for Kathy Griffin (who didn't come over at all - FAIL). Kevin came over right away - WIN.And, yes, I am showing you my prized picture yet again. In fact, I think I'll find a reason to post it every day this week just to be super obnoxious. :) David Spade didn't come over when he arrived, but he did as he was leaving. WIN.Now, the show which David Spade was on also featured Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, and Rob Schneider. Guess what? All three were major FAILS. Chris Rock didn't come over at the beginning or the end. In fact, he didn't even wave. FAIL.Adam Sandler did wave when he arrived and left, but never once did he come over to greet his fans who'd been waiting for hours. FAIL. To be fair, Rob Schneider did come over (after we booed him) as he was leaving, but he only signed autographs...no pictures. FAIL. He was wearing this awesome pink shirt, too. It would've been a GREAT pic!

Is It Wrong That I Thought This Was Funny?

I realize I should have more respect for the dead, but this was too funny not to share.Yesterday I received this picture via email - apparently it's a picture of Gary Coleman's casket...complete with his name on it (*groan*). :)
