Love, light, and healing going out to these dear friends who are dealing with Ike's latest cancer battle.
His last round of chemo is very near and I'm sending all the love and hugs in the world that they got it this time. Third time's a charm! We love you!

Wonder Mermaid
When I saw Little Miss P the other day, she presented me with a Lego she had specially made for me.
Behold...Wonder Mermaid. I couldn't love any Lego more. :)

Little Miss P!
I sent Little Miss Pyper her "official" invite to be one of my flower girls - how freaking cute is this picture?
Looks like somebody might be a wee bit excited!

Happy Birthday, McP!!!
Here ye, here ye, today is a very special day - it's the 4th birthday of the one and only Little Miss P.
That's right - Little Miss is four (going on sixteeen) and we all love her so very much.
Too bad she told her parents that they needn't take her out for her birthday since Pinky would be there to take her out (do you hear that sound? It's the sound of my heart breaking). OUCH.
Hopefully she's not too disappointed when I don't walk through that door. Sigh. I miss that little cherub.
Obviously, she's in great hands with her family....I'm sure they'll have lots and lots of fun.

Then again, who wouldn't have fun with Little Miss in the room? She brightens every room she enters.

Miss P and the Gyro Stand
So, the festival we worked at today happened to be a neverending hard rock/metal band show. A metal band?!?! BLECH!!! Never in a million years would I willingly be at something like that, although the people watching was quite superb (tattoos and long hair and missing teeth, oh my). As McBrian said (his new nickname), it looked like a big trailer just stopped outside and let everyone out. :) OK, that was mean. I apologize. But McBrian said it, not me.
Luckily, before the throngs of people flooded in, I got to spend some quality time with Miss P (who's McBrian's daughter, by the way). She was on her way to see Iron Man with her mom - I hope she enjoyed the film! :)
I love the picture above - doesn't it look like she's saying, "I'm sorry, no more pictures." Could she be any cuter? I love her little tennis outfit (complete with a little "Tennis Anyone?" white skirt), even though she wasn't a big fan of the hat with chin strap. At least it helped keep it on!

Pretty Pink Princess
This is Pyper (ask Miss P). She's a pretty-pink-princess-in-training. Last night I was lucky enough to hang out with her while her parents had a "date night" and she seemed to enjoy herself (as evidenced by the hysterical laughing on the Little Mermaid beanbag above). But really, who wouldn't enjoy the Pink Palace? :) The first time I watched her, I sent a text to Brian (her dad) saying, "She can't stop looking around, I think she's mesmerized" and he responded with, "She's probably thinking this is the first time her world makes sense." My one job in relation to this beautiful child is to expose her to as much pink as possible. :) I think I'm headed in the right direction! :)
