Gretchen Cryer isn't just Jon Cryer's mom in real life, but she played Keith's mom in the movie Hiding Out. In the film, Jon Cryer's character is cousins with Keith, so Gretchen essentially played his aunt.
We were lucky to see Gretchen at Jon's book signing not too long ago. She was the sweetest. When Keith introduced me to her, she said, "It's about time I meet my daughter-in-law." Adorbs. Loved her.
