The Breakfast Club - 30 Years Later

Yesterday was a momentous day, my friends. Yes, indeed. The Breakfast Club turned 3-0. Can you believe it?
I saw this post about halfway throughout the day and my head exploded a little bit. THIRTY years ago (!).
In case you've been living under a rock, The Breakfast Club is a timeless tale of a group of high school kids from various social classes who are forced to spend a Saturday together in detention.
As you can imagine, there are misunderstandings, there is romance, and, of course, hijinx ensue.
This is one of John Hughes' best films and I'll never tire of watching it. When we're in our nineties at the old folks home, I'm sure I'll still be telling Keith to put this DVD (will we even have DVDs then?) on.
In honor of the Big Day, I made this little collage. Still hoping to meet Ally Sheedy one day!
In one of the best lines from the film, Judd Nelson tells Principal Vernon to eat his shorts. Love it!
Sadly, this is way too true. Long live The Breakfast Club!
