While I still loathe and despise London just as much as ever and will be boycotting the Olympics just to prove a point (although, really, I wouldn't watch the Olympics anyway. They just don't blow my skirt up), they did do one thing right: They booked the BEST act ever for the Opening Ceremonies.
That's right, none other than my beloved Duran Duran will be performing at the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics! How great is that? As they're native to the country, I don't foresee them having any passport or entry issues getting through security, so that's good.
Even better? I get to see them in concert in two short weeks. Bring on DD!!! I'm having withdrawals.
