Have you discovered Ingrid Michaelson yet? She's amazing. Her voice is like an angel and she gives the performance of a lifetime. I was lucky enough to see her in concert a few months ago and was just entranced by how engaging she is with the crowd and how much fun it was. What made it even better was that I ran into her outside before the show and was able to get a picture with her. I'd heard from some friends at Sundance that she was nice - they'd gone to see her perform at the festival and then asked for her picture. Apparently she said, "With me?" How cute is that? 
Her music was featured on a Gap commercial a few months ago - the one that goes, "If you are chilly, here take my sweater...." Do you remember that? It came on TV like every other commercial for awhile, but the song is still great.
She's coming to town next weekend, so if you get a chance, check it out! You'll be stoked you did. :)

Ingrid Michaelson and Music Nation are collaborating on a contest to see who can best belt out her hit track "The Way I Am." There aren't many in the contest yet, and the winner scores an autographed Gibson guitar. Sounds interesting...
