I love Bailee Madison. She's so adorable onscreen and I love everything she does.

This was my second time meeting her in person and she's just as sweet as you'd expect.

Ralphs Bakery: Cake FAIL

So, one of my co-workers/friends is turning 50 and I thought it'd be fun to surprise him with a Star Wars cake since he loves Star Wars and is also working on Galaxy's Edge. In fact, he'll be working on it during his actual birthday next week, so today was the day we celebrated at work.

Years ago I had Ralphs make Keith a yummy themed cake, so I went back to them again thinking they'd do a great job. Well, I was wrong. This is the cake I ordered. Cute, right?

However, when I went to pick it up, this is what I received. They couldn't even spell Kevin right! When I pointed it out, the lady SHRUGGED and said she didn't do it. Um, does that make it OK?

So, here's how it looks after she fixed his name....and as a bonus, she even left a fingerprint in the cake at no extra charge!

Once I put the Darth Vader head on it, I guess it was better? Still debatable. At least it tasted great!

Pinky's Fandance - Robert Wagner

I can't believe I totally forgot to post this last year!

Robert Wagner was at the Hollywood Show along with Keith and a bunch of guests, so we were stoked to get a chance to meet him!

Super nice guy. Loved meeting him!

DogTV

So, Keith stumbled upon this new channel we seem to be receiving called DogTV. I'm not sure what I think about it yet.

Allegedly it's a channel aimed towards dogs and has all these weird sounds and different blocks of either "relaxation" or stimulation.

Now, while Sammy does watch TV when we're not home, I don't think this is the kinda thing he likes to watch. We left it on for him one day, but by the time I checked on him at lunch, he'd left his normal viewing area and went to another room. Did he dislike it?

That's probably it for us with the DogTV. We used to put on Animal Channel, but now it's just some family comedy. He's a people person after all. :) LOL.

As we made our way up north last weekend, we passed by some fun places in Malibu.

Patrick's Roadhouse is so decorated with fun statues! I love what they've done.

This sign made us laugh. It's hard to see, but it says, "The Chicken Headquarters." Um. What? ALL the chickens in the whole world? I'm confused. Seems like they'd need a little more room...

Jill Wagner is by far one of my favorite Hallmark heroines. In fact, I've been known to be so excited to think I've spotted her, that I've accidentally thought someone else was her. Oops.

She wasn't on the list for this party, so I was THRILLED when I saw she was there. Plus, she was super sweet! Love it! Always love watching her.

Family Fun

Before we left on our second New Orleans adventure, we headed down to my brother Jay's neck of the woods to deliver Ava's birthday present, see my mom, and watch some games.

How adorable is Andrew's jersey with his last name on it? Love it!

Always fun to see my mom, even if it was only for a bit.

I love watching my brother be a dad. He's such a great hands-on one.

James was on Sammy duty and loved it.
