Thanksgiving Part Two

On Friday afternoon we headed down to Keith's mom's house for another Thanksgiving.
She had this great rotisserie to cook the turkey on.
Keith was a big fan of this book.
Last year we'd framed these for his mom for Christmas - it was awesome to see them hanging up.
His mom also had a birthday while we were there, so we celebrated with some yummy cake!
Happy happy!

Pinky's Fandance - Tiya Sircar

Yes, I realize the coloring is wonky on this, but we'd already had two major photo fails before this one was taken, so I had to make do with what I had.
Tiya played Zach Braff's wife on Alex, Inc. and while that show wasn't great, she was a pleasant part of it. Looking forward to see what she does next!

Winning at Work

One of my co-workers got everyone donuts and put out this little note last week. I thought it was so sweet!
Now that's how you win at work.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
That's the strangest looking tie/scarf I've ever seen.
Is she trying to be an ice dancer now?
This seems like a strange pairing, but what do I know.
Charlie Brown tribute dress gone awry.
Um...what is happening to her face? Is she getting super plastic? That outfit is a snore.

Top Five LOL Animals of the Day

Creed II

After our feast on Thanksgiving, my dad, Keith, and I went to see Creed II.
As I really liked the first one, I guess I just expected more. It's a fine movie, it's just a big slow and really really predictable. Like, I could tell you every plot point by the end of the first act. The first hour felt like an eternity. Sure, Michael B. Jordan is entertaining to watch, but I just wish they could've moved it along a bit quicker.

Pinky's Fandance - Will Sasso

One of the main reasons I wanted to go to the Vulture Festival was to try and meet Will Sasso.
I've been enjoying his work since he was on Less Than Perfect with Sara Rue and he always cracks me up.
We both laughed at how mean he looks in this picture. Like, I have no idea why he looks mean. He's a huge sweetheart!

Thanksgiving

Behold our pictures from Thanksgiving lunch.
This was a picture Keith told me to take because my hair was "on point." :)
Now, in terms of the food itself, let's just say the place is going downhill and we're not sure we'll be back. However, it's never a bad time when you're surrounded by those you love.
We saw this sunset on our way back and I think it sums everything up. Beautiful.
