Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
I love everything about this dress and look. Very well done, Lola!
Conversely, the only thing I like about this tragedy is the color.
Were they all told to wear blue suits? Like, seriously. What is going on here.
Her hair is the cutest.
I find her face to be a wee bit smug here.

Top Five LOL Dogs of the Day

Sweetie Face

This little sweetie face looks pretty comfy, huh?
Oh, to be a dog and lie around comfy all the time.....

Pinky's Fandance - Tim Meadows

Huge thanks to Tim Meadows for his patience while my camera decided to take approximately ten minutes to take this picture (yes, that's a slight exaggeration, but not too far off!). It was embarrassing how long it took. He kept saying, "I'm sure you've got it now" but the camera never actually flashed, so nothing had been taken. I feel like I got it by the skin of my teeth!
In all my SNL-loving years, I can't believe this is the first time I'd ever seen Tim Meadows in person. I wasn't really sure what to expect. Thankfully he'd asked me a question from stage (they had a Q&A with the audience) and I was able to ask about the pic in advance. Always a relief to lock it down. :)

UCB Show with Tim Meadows

Last night we had the chance to check out the "So, You Do Comedy" show at UCB Sunset with special guest Tim Meadows.
I'm not sure why this sign photographed so poorly, but it looked clear when I took the picture. Weird.
Tim was a lot of fun to watch and had some great stories. Always enjoy this show!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
The caption for this photo described the couple as being on a "romantic stroll." I don't know about you, but I don't see anything romantic about his pulling her along by the wrist. Looks more like a naughty child gone wrong.
Is this what it looks like when librarians let their hair down? Well, figuratively at least.
Egads. Those pants are atrocious.
I love the wee little Pratt child. He makes me smile.
The best part about this picture is the crazed woman in the background. Way to make it all about you, lady.

Top Five LOL Animals of the Day

Girls Day at Disneyland

My sister, Erin, and niece, Phoenix, asked me awhile ago if we could have a girls day at Disneyland this month. Of course I said yes, but it was long before I crashed on my scooter (which meant limited mobility to my left arm) and had a migraine for most of the week.
So, while I didn't want to cancel on them, I also didn't want to get stuck being at the park all day. Hence....my husband coming along.
To be fair, he's also very helpful at Disneyland and is great about getting fast passes for everyone. I was thrilled to have him with us, since I knew I wasn't going to make it all day and didn't want to slow them down or be a bummer on their trip.
If you ever find yourself in Cars Land and hungry/thirsty, this hits all the spots. YUM! Chili con and pomegranate vodka for the win.
Keith was trying to apologize to Thor for spreading all those rumors about him, but apparently Thor wasn't having it at all.
Cars ride!
Cars Land!
Obligatory entrance shot.
My sister and my niece. Love all the ears!

Pinky's Fandance - Robert Buckley

Now, while it's true I've usually got a pretty good eye for celebs, I'll admit that finding them at Disneyland isn't my strong suit. Keith and I saw someone last time, but couldn't remember his name...but this time I actually spotted someone I've been dying to meet!
Robert Buckley was on One Tree Hill, Lipstick Jungle, and currently stars on iZombie. But, despite following him on Twitter forever, I still wasn't quite sure it was him standing in front of me. I had to walk around him several times to be sure it was him. I almost eeked out, "Robert," to see if he'd reply, but totally chickened out. Thankfully, I finally found my courage and asked him for a quick picture. Hooray! So stoked to finally meet him!

See This: Girls Trip

On a whim, the other night we cashed in some movie vouchers to see Girls Trip after hearing rave reviews.
What a funny movie! I mean, we knew it was going to be funny, but we didn't expect to also find love, friendship, and heart in the movie.
The breakout star of the film by far is Tiffany Haddish who just kills in this movie. She's the best! I laughed, I cried, I wanted more. Check this movie out if you get a chance!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Why is Jared wearing such a horrible outfit? Was he painting?
I thought J.Lo was fashionable? Has she never heard of a tailor?
This is Sting's son. Why does he look so close in age to him?
Her shirt looks like some sort of torture device, no?
No one ever needs to see your bra, Celine. Please make a note of it.

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Watch This: The Defiant Ones

I've gotta admit - I knew absolutely nothing about The Defiant Ones documentary going into it. In fact, the only reason I even started tuning in was because I caught a snippet of old school Gwen Stefani and wanted to see what I was watching. I ended up recording the entire four-part documentary on HBO and we were totally hooked.
In fact, I'm not sure I've ever seen such an incredible, informative, and interesting documentary before. It was SO well done. The editing was amazing and the subject matter was unbelievable.
Up until now, I only new Jimmy Iovine from his being an adviser on American Idol and even then I didn't understand the hype. Now, I GET it. He's a genius. WOW.
Both Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre are incredibly hard-working and talented geniuses and I'm so happy to have had the chance to learn more about them. If you get a chance, check this out. You'll be happy you did.

Pinky's Fandance - Mark Sheppard

Mark Sheppard came to Curtis' book signing the other day to support his Supernatural co-star and ended up sitting right behind us.
Super cool guy! Great meeting him.
