From a Broken Plate to Art

We met an adorable fan of Keith's in Chicago who purchased this plate from us at the show for her friend back East. Sadly, she made it all the way there and then somehow managed to drop it right before giving it to her. D'oh! 

While I did offer to send her a new one, today she sent me a picture of what her friend did with the broken plate. I dare say it's even better than having a non-broken plate! What a work of art! I love it. Well done!

Pinky's Fandance - Sean Hayes

As a HUGE fan of Will & Grace, I've always wanted to meet Sean Hayes (aka Jack) from the show. I love him SO much. What a hilarious guy!

Not only have I watched everything he's ever done, but I follow both him and his hubby on Twitter in hopes that I'd be able to meet them someday. Last week I finally had my shot! What a fun surprise. I had no idea he'd be there until right before the festival and even then I wasn't sure if he'd be fan friendly. Guess what?!? He totally was! Hooray! Thanks, Sean! You made my day!

Pinky's Fandance - Shirley MacLaine

In what can only be considered an act of fate, Shirley MacLaine rolled down her window in the middle of a snow storm right as she was passing us on Main Street. Obviously, we jumped at the chance to meet her. I mean, how often does that happen?!?! 

My friend Heidels got her picture with her and then I jumped in for mine. Yes, I realize Shirley looks less than thrilled, but I can assure you she was lovely. Of course, she did roll up the window right afterwards, but I'm sure that was a coincidence. ;)

Dinner with Friends

We stayed in Salt Lake City the night before Sundance, so we decided to host a little dinner where people could stop by and say hi.

The weather was pretty awful, so we didn't get as many people as we'd hoped. But the people who did come were troopers and totally awesome!

My girl Toni brought her son and his girlfriend.

Then, Kate and Heidi stopped by (I worked with them all at O.C. Tanner years ago).  

My girl Shmegan stopped by with her hubby Kevin.

And my friend Ryan dropped by. So fun to see everyone!
