Keith says this all the time (it's a quote from his Don't Tell Mom movie), so it would be perfect to go with the "Dishes Are Done, Man" cross stitch I found the other day!

Perhaps someday when I finish all my blankets I'll be able to get these patterns done. They're going to look great! :)

Pinky's Fandance - Rose McGowan

I don't understand why perfectly attractive people choose to make ridiculous faces in pictures. 

Take Rose McGowan, for instance. She is perfectly lovely, but always pics some silly pose when taking pictures. I think she thinks this looks sexy, but her face by itself is fine for me. No silly faces necessary.

R.I.P. 10 Items or Less

Um, what the hell happened to the 10 Items or Less Aisle? Has the grocery store fallen prey to the whole "let's not keep score so everything's fair" mentality of the world and caved on the "10 Items Or Less" area? I mean, we all know that plenty of people abused the UNDER 10 items rule, but to blatantly put "about 15 items"?!?! Wow. Just wow. Feels lazy. 

Maybe the next wave of changes will have the "Take Whatever You Need" aisle or the "Name Your Price" aisle? Now those are things I can get behind. This one just feels wishy-washy.

Pinky's Fandance - Jack O'Halloran

Jack O'Halloran played Non, one of the bad guys, in the original Superman movies and was a scary guy. In real life, he's a total sweetheart.

We had a chance to meet him at the Fanboy Expo last year and I think my cute husband totally fanboyed out to see him in person. So cool!

We took Sammy over to the beach again last night and I got the cutest pics of Sammy and his daddy. Love them both so much!

Yes, I totally agree with you. This is horrible picture. The sun is way too bright, you can barely make out his face, and I have a stupid look on mine.

And yet, it's a million times better than the picture I took last year, which ended up in the great abyss since I didn't have a memory card in my camera at the time. GAH! So, this is way better than the nothing I got before. Fine with me - I'll take it!

Pinkalicious: The Musical

Pinkalicious: The Musical is such a fun show! I've been counting down the days until I got to see it with my adorable niece, Ava, and my sister-in-law, Vauri, and Vauri's mom, Jan, and this weekend we finally got to see it!

Of course I had to stop on my way and pick us all up some scepters and crowns. Everyone needs those!

I even brought a pink wig and some pink hair spray in case anyone wanted to go full pink.

Of course we had to have a photo session at lunch before the show.

So fun to see everyone put on the wig!

Based on the book by the same name, Pinkalicious is about a girl who eats too many pink cupcakes and turns pink (my dream!). 

The music was awesome and I'm dying to download the soundtrack.

The show was set up perfectly for kids and was really interactive. They even sold crowns, light up wings, and light up scepters at the show.

After the show, we even got to pose with the stars of the show. Such a fun day!
