Pinky's Fandance Flashback - Amber Riley

In honor of Amber Riley being the new champion of Dancing with the Stars (really? Over Elizabeth Berkley??!?!), I thought I'd post our picture together from a few years back.
I met Amber when Glee was at the Paley Fest and she was super nice. Obviously I had my old camera, as evidenced by the eyes looking at the screen instead of the camera. Ooops. Congrats, Amber!

Be Grateful

As Thanksgiving approaches, I wanted to take a minute and express my gratitude for everything that I have: my health, my family, my friends, my job, and my adoring husband, Keith (just to name a few).
Of course, what I'm most grateful for right now is how quickly life can change and for all the opportunities that may bring. Just a brief year ago I was in a really bad way - hating myself, being super self-destructive, mourning the death of my friend, and being constantly disappointed by dumb Crush.
Here it is a year later and I'm not only happily married, but probably the happiest I've ever been. I feel settled and secure in a way I've never been before and I am constantly amazed at everything the past year has brought to my life. Normally Thanksgiving is my least favorite holiday, but I think this year it's going to be different. Keith and I are starting our new traditions together and things can only get better, right?

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
I may or may not have just licked the screen. Don't judge me.
Ooof. How do I keep missing Matt all over LA?
Oh, Lady Mary...partying with a real life Prince. Awesome.
Gah! I missed him in LA again?!!?! I lose.
Do you think she's going to write a song about him? Too easy? I know, sorry. I'm slipping.

Top Five LOL Animals of the Day

Happy One Month Anniversary!!!!

One month ago I married the love of my life....and, honestly, I know it sounds cheesy to say, but I've never been happier. Keith is such a great partner in every way - he's the yin to my yang, the milk to my cookie, the key to my lock. I never thought I'd be this lucky and each day just gets better and better.
Happy one month anniversary, babe! I love you to infinity and beyond.

Pinky's Fandance - Michael B. Jordan

Michael B. Jordan is getting huge buzz for his performance on Fruitvale Station. I first loved him when he was on Parenthood, but have come to enjoy his work in a variety of roles.
Hopefully he remains friendly. I'd met him years ago and he was super cool, but at the time this picture was taken, he really didn't want to do it. I hope he stays nice (please stay nice!).

It's Official!!!

Check it out! Hot off the presses - I'm officially a Coogan now! :)
Man, that was fast! Now on to get my new driver's license....phew!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
I think a bathing suit would be less revealing on a red carpet.
Is she going scuba diving? I don't understand.
What the hell happened to Billy Ray? Did somebody break his Achy Breaky heart?
Nice couch.
Hey look! It's Hipster Barbie.

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

As Seen on Pinterest

While I like to joke that most of our wedding was "brought to you by Pinterest," it's actually not far from the truth. One of my fave things on Pinterest was a "Groom's Day Of Survival Kit" which I made sure to give to Keith on the morning of our wedding.
It's hard to read in the pic, but essentially it consisted of socks (to help with cold feet), lifesavers (to save you from drowning in emotion), small bottle of alcohol (to calm any nerves), mints (for a fresh kiss), and a ring pop (in case you forget the essentials). I also gave him a groom's gift of Star Wars cufflinks (which I'd show you a picture of, but I can't find it right now - it essentially looked just like his groom's cake with the basic Star Wars logo on it).
Also from Pinterest? A "Reasons I Want To Marry You" book that I'd write in anytime I was struck with yet another reason I married the love of my life. I loved being able to surprise him on our big day with a few things (especially since we'd done most of the planning together, so there wasn't room for a lot of surprises).

Pinky's Fandance - Sarah Hyland

In case you're wondering what the look on my face is all about, Sarah had just said to me (in response to my asking for a picture after like five other people had done so), "Only if you do it quickly and discreetly" in an oh-so-bitchy tone.
The last time I'd met Sarah, she was nice, but the last few times I saw her I didn't even ask for a picture. I wish I'd kept up with that plan. The only reason I did at the Emmys was because I followed her on Twitter and she was always talking about her boyfriend, Matt Pro (who is also in the picture) and I thought it'd be fun to get the double shot, especially since they'd been hanging out in the lobby forever. Needless to say, I no longer follow her on Twitter, am no longer a fan, and will NEVER ask her for a picture ever again. Being berated in public for a simple request isn't something I enjoy. Shame on you, Hyland.

Adventures in Babysitting in Wee Paper People!

Oh my goodness, how freaking cute is this?!?!
It's the cast of Adventures in Babysitting as wee paper people! I'm definitely going to need to make me a Keith Coogan paper guy! Stat!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Transformation into the Snow Queen in Narnia: 99% complete.
Nice aluminum sack. Ugh.
As always, Lady Gaga is nothing but subtle. At least she wasn't an egg.
Naya's face seems to reflect my thoughts: How does one combine leather and flannel into one ugly shirt?
Will somebody please feed Nicole Ritchie before she ends up on a commercial to end world hunger?

Top Seven Postsecrets of the Day

Disney with the Family

For the holidays, Disney is cool enough to give us extra tickets to Disneyland so that we can enjoy the park with our extended families. Not only did we get extra admissions, but we got deals on food, drinks, and merchandise. Score!
Keith and I drove down with my sister Erin and her kids Phoenix and Max and we met us with our brother Jay's family. We started off the day with a picture with a Princess. Love how James is holding her hand!
First stop? Cars Land!
Sisters and our baby brother....sportring a horrible mustache for Movember (it's OK, he agrees it looks awful).
Ava Lou and I riding King Triton's Carousel while everyone else rode the scary rollercoaster.
Christmas time at Disney with my love!
