Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.

Engagement Party Fun

To make things even more fun at the Engagement Party, we'd brought some of our decor (frames, pics, and, of course, the crocheted letters).

Don't they look adorable on the wall? I loved the way they turned out! :)

My friend Kristie (who just happens to be Betsy's cousin) brought us this cookie cake from Mrs. Field's cookies. Since Kristie and I used to work together at Mrs. Field's cookies in Provo, it was perfect!

Pinky's Fandance - Carla Gallo

Carlo Gallo is one of those faces that you know you've seen, but you're not going to figure it out in time to meet her, so you get the picture when you can and then research it afterwards.

I'm so glad I trusted my instincts and asked for a picture! Carla was on Californication and I thought she was great in it. Such beautiful eyes, too!

HUGE thanks to our friends Betsy and Rick for opening their home to us and our family and friends for our Utah Engagement Party this weekend.

Seriously, when I initially suggested maybe we do something in Utah during that time, I had no idea it was turn out as incredible as it did.

From the moment we arrived to this crafty wreath I knew we were in for a treat.

Of course we had to pose with it!

Check out the incredible chalk sign! Even better? Betsy gave us one as a wedding present! Score!

These were my favorite thing there - of course, the flamingo sticks didn't hurt to make them even better.

Yes, in case you're wondering, we will be having these at our wedding now. How could we not?

Everything was perfect - the tables were adorable and the decor was amazing.

Can you believe Betsy handmade these? She claims she's not crafty, but I'm pretty sure she's just hiding some mad skills. Thanks again, guys! You made us feel very special and loved.

Top Five LOL Animals of the Day

Utah Bound

Today we're off to Utah for my friend Vicki's wedding and our own little soiree (I think we're calling it an Engagement Party for lack of a better word) at my friend Betsy's house tomorrow morning. Super excited to see everyone!

I'm not sure Keith has spent much time there, so it'll be fun to show him some sights...well, whatever we can do in the short amount of time we're there.

Unfortunately I hear it's super cold there...blurgh! Better pack some jackets for sure!

Pinky's Fandance - Carson Daly

I was super impressed by Carson Daly at the Emmys this year. Despite holding two boxes containing actual Emmy awards in his hands (those things are heavy!) while simultaneously talking on the phone and getting into a car, he still stopped and posed with me. Now THAT'S a class act!

I've loved Carson since he was back on TRL. I listen to his radio show on Amp Radio every morning on my way to work and think he's awesome as the host of The Voice. Stoked to meet him again!
