Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. In honor of Halloween, today we're going to play a little game called "Costume? Or No Costume?" Justin Bieber? NO costume. Unless he was trying to dress up like a douchebag. If so, he nailed it! Kelly Clarkson? Unless she's trying for a Solid Gold dancer, NO costume. OK, this is a trick question because if Lady Gaga ever actually wore something called a costume, how would we know? Is Sinead O'Connor going as a normal person? If so, then YES costume. Surprisingly, this is NOT Tina Fey's costume. Do I even want to know the story behind it?

Top Seven Postsecrets of the Day

Halloween Party Pics

The Halloween party last night was a lot of fun. I should've taken better pics of my Valley Girl Duranie costume, but it was still a blast. The party was an '80s theme, so Joe, the host, dressed up as the main character of Beetlejuice. My friend Josh - on the far right - was Billy Idol and his friend GianCarlo was Wolverine. Like the blades? Trying to get a better shot of Wolverine's outfit.
Me and Nicole, Joe's girlfriend, who was also dressed up as a character from Beetlejuice.
A better group shot where you can at least see my fun gloves and Sammy's cute costume. He was Frogger.
Too blurry, but at least you can see my Duranie shirt, circa 1984.
Josh and his friend Brennan who was Darth Vader with a very cool light saber.
A group shot of some of the partygoers.
Josh and Brennan with the weird flash on.
Nicole making some drinks for the guests. They were delish!
Joe and Nicole - cutest couple ever.

Pinky's Fandance - Andrea Anders

I loved Andrea Anders when she played Joey's girlfriend on his now defunct show and then again when she played Matthew Perry's girlfriend on his now defunct show. Although cute and lovely in person, she was in a hurry and had to rush our pic. Luckily I can take it super fast, or I would've been out of luck. On an interesting side note, did you know she's still dating Matt LeBlanc in real life? I had no idea until I saw them together.

Dress Up Dogs

In case you thought Sammy was the only dog wearing a costume last night, I present Miss Bella the Chia Pet. My flash is a bit off, but I think it gets the point across. Here's Sammy sporting his amazing frog costume. Obviously he's a big fan.
Another shot of the Chia Pet. The funny part was that the dogs wouldn't play at all until the end of the night when the costumes came off - then they played like normal dogs. Were they shy while in costume?

Celebrity Wrap Up - Monday Halloween Edition

Hello and welcome to the Halloween edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Although not exactly timely, this looks like a super fun get-up.
Well, that's one way of looking graceful.
Gwen Stefani looks amazeballs!
Apparently Nicole Ritchie did such a great J.Lo costume that photographers thought she was her. Awesome! :)
This is probably the only thing Heidi Klum could wear that would make her look unattractive.

And We're Off....

Sammy and I are heading out the door on a big road trip today. Well, actually, it's probably not that big, just in the opposite direction we normally go. We're heading up North for my friend Joe's '80s themed Halloween party - should be a great time! First we're stopping in SF and having lunch with my friend DK, then we're picking up my friend Josh, and then we're off to the party. I'm excited! Hopefully this migraine I'm currently suffering from will hit the road around the same time we do because I've had about enough of this crap. Have a fantastic weekend!

Top Five LOL Dogs of the Day

See This: The Descendants

Last night I saw the best movie I've seen in a long, long time. It was so good, in fact, that it reaffirmed my faith in independent films and reminded me how satisfying it is to behold a true work of genius be unfolded on the screen. Now, of course, it didn't hurt that George Clooney was the lead actor in the film, as I could watch him read the phone book and still be entertained. But, he was remarkable. The movie was touching, funny, sweet, dramatic, and really drew you in to the characters and their journey. The Descendants is about a man, Matt King, who's dealing with his wife being in a coma (and then finding out she cheated on him) while in the middle of a big business decision and trying to bond with his two daughters. It's an amazing film directed by the genius that is Alexander Payne and I highly recommend. Seriously, it's just SO good.

Pinky's Fandance - Jessica Capshaw

It's always a grand day in the life of Pinky Lovejoy when I can meet someone from my favorite TV show, Grey's Anatomy. I'd been trying to meet Jessica Capshaw (who plays Arizona) for what seems like forever, so when I finally got to meet her I was overjoyed to say the least. Jessica was the sweetest person ever. On Twitter she comes across as a total doll and in real life she's the exact same way. Considering she's Steven Spielberg's step-daughter, I wasn't sure what to expect (although, from what I can gather, Steven is nice, as well, so I guess I shouldn't really be surprised), but she was a dream come true.

Are They Really In Costume?

So, here's what I can't wrap my head around this week - why is everyone celebrating Halloween so early? I totally understand if it's on a weekend, but it's not - it's on a Monday. Why are they having people dress up at work today? Yesterday I saw someone at Costco wearing deely-boppers on her head and a horrible outfit. I'm afraid the outfit was just her poor clothing decisions, but the deely-boppers concerned me. Does Halloween being a week away allow everyone carte blanche to do what they want? Last night at the mall I saw a woman walking around in PAJAMAS. That better have been a costume. Otherwise....oh, dear.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Sunday Hot Guy Edition

Hello and welcome to Sunday's Hot Guy edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Hey Mark - Say hi to your mother for me.
Orly, I love that you're carrying your wife's purse. Major points for you.
Ben, sweetie, I'm afraid you're not allowed back on this list until you get yourself to a barber.
George, I love you. I want to have your children. Last night was the second time I've seen you in person and you're just as hot as they say. Yum.
Johnny, you dress like a dandy chap from England who may or may not have a brain injury and I love that about you.
