Pinky's Fandance - Marcia Gay Harden

I've wanted to get a picture with Marcia Gay Harden for the longest time and tonight I finally had my chance.
I've loved Marcia ever since she appeared in the adorable film Late for Dinner and I was stoked to find out she was starring in a local play. In person she's very low-key and kind. In fact, when she saw my friend Mikey had a Whip It poster, she insisted on having her daughter (who was apparently also in the movie) sign it as well. So nice.

DD Wall Re-Do

As I just received my VIP stuff from Duran Duran in that mail, it was high time to re-do my beloved DD wall.
Here's an overview of the newly revamped wall. Fancy, huh?
The signed CD case is framed, of course, but I wanted to share with you the fact that the actual CD is pink. Coincidence? I think not.
The framed CD case and VIP lanyard. So. Freaking. Cool.
An overview of the lower half of the wall - basically where everything is new. Love it! ;)

Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Hey Kate - I realize you're preggers and all, but that still doesn't make it OK to wear pajamas in public.
Those twins just do not look alike at all. Is that why they keep them separate?
Is Gaga trying to be Where's Waldo now?
Hot damn. Let's focus on the beauty that is Ben. Yowsa.
Who in their right mind would tattoo The Biebs on his ribcage? Hopefully that symbol stands for "I'm an idiot."

Top Eight Postsecrets of the Day

See This: The Hangover: Part 2

The one thing I was able to do from my "to do" list this weekend was to see the long-anticipated The Hangover: Part 2. I'm fairly certain Bradley Cooper has never looked hotter in his entire life than he did in every single frame of this film.
While it easily could be said that the sequel stayed very close to the original script, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the first one and the second one did not disappoint. Why mess with a good thing? True, the shock factor may have been gone, but they did a great job of still having some surprises and the Thailand backdrop was beautiful to behold. Check it out if you get a chance! :)

Pinky's Fandance - Dijon Talton

I'm not sure what happened, but after appearing on the entire first season of Glee, Dijon Talton just stopped being on the show.
Regardless, he's super nice in person and it was fun to meet him.

Swallowed by my Bed

I had such big plans for the weekend, but instead I seem to have been swallowed whole by my bed. Fail.
Hopefully tomorrow I manage to get up before late afternoon - I've got organizing to do!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Monday Edition

Hello and welcome to Monday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Apparently pregnancy has affected January's eyesight. She seems to have forgotten how to apply make-up.
I suppose if your sister is Beyonce, there's not much you wouldn't do to get attention.
Was Ewan standing outside in a lot of wind?
Yes, Tyra. We know you are very serious. Nice big boy clothes.
Is that outfit some sort of puzzle?

Top Five LOL Dogs of the Day

True Blue for True Blood

The posters for the new season of my beloved True Blood were just released and wowsa! Nicely done!
My fave, of course, just might be the one featuring Sam, but the others are also done well.
Sookie surrounded by all the hotties...lucky b*tch.
Yum. But why is Jason wearing a shirt?

Pinky's Fandance - Gene Simmons

Last night I took Trucker to The Cheesecake Factory for his birthday and as we were waiting to be seated, I saw Gene Simmons from KISS leaving the restaurant with his family.
I don't know why it was so funny to me, but it just seemed like such a "normal" place for him to go. ;) Gene was incredibly nice and all-too-happy to pose for a picture with me. Too bad he's not rocking the white make-up or sticking out his overly long tongue. ;)

R.I.P. Jeff Conaway

Jeff Conaway, best known for his roles of Kenickie in Grease and Bobby Wheeler in Taxi, passed away this morning at the far-too-young age of 60.
I had the privilege of not only meeting Jeff earlier this year, but spending quite some time with him talking and sharing stories. I really enjoyed our brief, but memorable, time together.
Jeff was a sweet but troubled soul who was anxiously looking forward to a career comeback and shared some of his upcoming projects with me. He was so excited for new opportunities and I'm truly sad to hear of his passing. He will be missed.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Sunday Edition

Hello and welcome to Sunday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Is it just me, or is that the most awkward way to stand ever? Is she taking a crap?
In person this dress was even more adorable. Nicely done, Lucy!
How does she look normal sized in pictures? I was shocked at how teeny Tony Angelina is in person. Oh, and Brad, those shades are a world of no.
I can't decide if I like this or not. Maybe I'm just jealous. I would love to rock that dress.
Yikes. Looks like somebody got caught out on laundry day.

Top Five FAILS of the Day

Sammy's Outside Quarters

Trying something new with Sammy while I'm at work....
Unfortunately, he seems to hate it. Fail.
He refuses to go to the restroom in it - which I completely don't understand. He doesn't seem to have a problem going anywhere in our house. What's the problem?

Pinky's Fandance Redux - Katherine Joosten

Although Katherine Joosten plays the sometimes grumpy Mrs. McCluskey on Desperate Housewives, I can assure you that in person she's a total sweetheart.
The first time we met was at a pre-Emmy event back in August. The only bummer was that my camera was on the way out and kept making all my pics blurry. Fail
Luckily, I had another chance to meet her the other day. I know I've already shared this picture, but I couldn't resist. She loved Sammy!
Katherine had a dog with her, as well, which is what Sammy's looking at in this picture. Hooray for a better camera this time!
