A Modge Podge of Pictures

The past week has brought forth a few fun pics to share.

For Christmas, Max got some fancy schmancy shoes from his Uncle Jay, so he wanted to show them off.

Erin decided to get her dog a coat for a gift - I'm confused, isn't that what his fur is for?

Erin & Phoenix at dinner tonight. Phoenix is showing off her new panda bear.

Our motley crew after dinner - my mom and step-dad have been visiting for the past few days and it's been a lot of fun to have them in town. Tomorrow we're all having lunch with Jay's family - wahoo! :)

Pinky's Fandance - Seth Green & Clare Grant

Seth Green is one of the coolest actors around, so it's no surprise that his wife, Clare Grant, would be the same way.

I loved hearing their true life love story before they got married and since I follow both of them on Twitter, I love hearing how sweet they are to and about each other.

Clare is also an actor and she was super nice when we met. Normally Seth is the one who's bombarded by fans, so I think she was surprised I recognized her, as well. They're so ridiculously nice to fans; I love it.

Best. App. Ever.

I found this amazing app for my iPhone the other day called "Fun Camera."

It acts like a normal camera, but puts all these super cool effects in the picture - lights, hearts, bubbles, you name it.

How awesome are these pictures? I've barely scratched the surface of things I can do with it, so prepare yourself for a world of wonder and super fun pics.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.

Why is Keith looking right at the camera? It's odd, no?

Portia and Ellen are so adorable and always look so happy. I love them.

Nice jammies, Katy.

Hi, Keanu! More black, huh? I'm shocked.

Is Gaga channeling early Madonna here?

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Funnies for You

Pinky's Fandance - Caterina Scorsone

As a lover of all things Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, I was stoked to meet Caterina Scorsone out and about in LA.

She plays McDreamy's sister and is completely approachable and adorable in person. Loved seeing her!

Solitaire - Party of One

Although I'm fairly certain I've downloaded this a million times, I'm totally digging my latest solitaire app on my iPad. In fact, I like it so much I want to play it 24/7.

Thankfully, I actually fell asleep at a reasonable hour and have managed not to play it at all today, but for the past few days I've been obsessed. Silly solitaire. Perhaps I'm just relating to its name? ;)

Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.

I think Josh & Fergie are just so cute. I love them.

Because it's for a movie role, I'm going to give Zac Efron a pass on this haircut. Still...yikes.

Man, that drag queen looks a lot like Cher.

Where can I get a car like that?

I was on the movie set of the Muppets the day this was taken. Isn't Amy Adams the cutest?

Top Five FAILS of the Day

The King's Speech

There's nothing I love more than a good film - something that's well acted, well written, and makes you think (and maybe even learn something). I've been hearing raving reviews of The King's Speech for several weeks and was dying to see it. It'd opened in small release, but then left our area before I could see it, so I thought I'd missed it. To my delight, it re-opened yesterday and my dad and I went to see it. Yay! While it's true it's not a complicated story - Colin Firth's character King George VI has a speech impediment and works to overcome it - I found the acting rich, the story interesting, and the movie fantastic overall. Of course, I also have a soft spot for anthing having to do with the English Monarchy - it's just so fascinating to me - so I may be a wee bit biased about how well the film is received on an individual basis. For example, my dad didn't hate it, but didn't really love it either. Then again, we were sitting by the World's Most Annoying Couple - they were 102 if they were a day and kept talking throughout the film as though they were sitting in their living room. In fact, I think they may have forgotten they were actually in public. Bless their hearts. I'm sure that didn't help his movie-going experience. Between all the talking, texting, and annoyances of late, I fear he may never go back to the theater again. Colin Firth is superb in this film, although my favorite character was probably Helena Bonham-Carter as the Queen. She was a comical genius and it's really well done. Check it out if you get a chance!

Pinky's Fandance - Chris Hardwick

Once upon a time, back in my MTV-watching days of Real World marathons, there was a dating show I rather liked called Singled Out. It was hosted by the beautiful Jenny McCarthy and the always adorable Chris Hardwick. Knowing me and my taste, of course I had a raging crush on Chris - he was pretty, funny, and, OK, maybe a *wee* bit gay looking. My perfect man!
I'd met Jenny McCarthy at Sundance quite a few years back, but I feared I'd never get to meet my big crush, Chris Hardwick, as he'd kinda dropped out of the public eye (or so I thought). Well, guess what? I was totally and completely wrong, as Chris Hardwick is not only alive and kicking, but actively performing on LA stages and radio programs. I stand corrected. He was also one of the performers at the last Thrilling Adventure Hour show and I finally got to meet him. Hooray! Isn't he still tres adorbs? Yeah, I thought so, too. Then again, I'm a bit biased.

This Is What Insomnia Brings You...

Aside from this first picture of the always adorable McP modeling the fine hat I sent her, the rest of these items were found as I trolled the internet in my neverending state of insomnia. Apparently in the heart of Twitter and Facebook, people post very odd things in the wee hours of the morning. Because I'm so nice, I've saved a few of my faves for you. First, though, let's take a look out how cute McP is getting as she turns into a 16-year-old Princess. Apparently she tried to call me on a pretend phone the other day as the family left for McB's birthday breakfast (Happy Birthday, McB, but I know you no longer read my blog...hence, no shout out), and then told McH that I wouldn't be joining them for breakfast because I was sleeping. Damn. Who knew she knew me quite that well? I thought we were close, but sheesh. She's got me pegged.
Next up - a picture of Bianca Kajlich's dog all dressed up in her Christmas clothes. It made me laugh. Ralph Macchio posted this as his Christmas card, but I'm not sure if he actually sent it out. Funny, though!I can't remember who posted this one, but I liked it - especially the mom covering up her child's eyes. Classic!Ah, yet another tribute from my TLF boy band, Duran Duran. You better believe it's going to be a Happy D-year! :)Someone posted this as a joke and said they got it for everyone for Christmas. Um, no thanks. That book cover is creepy, yo. Now, I love me some Whoopi, but come on. I don't want to see anyone sitting on a toilet. Ever.
Finally, another gift from one of my Twitter friends to everyone on their list. I'll bet those cats can jam.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Nothing says Christmas like matching black and white outfits. You know, I'm starting to think that Brad may be bald underneath all those caps. What else could explain his love of covering his beautiful head 24/7? If Vanessa Williams is wearing that, what is her couch wearing? Nothing?
I love crying Santa pictures! Of course, what does he have to be scared of with superstar parents who are also posing with Santa? How cute! Katie Holmes, desperate to finally get free of TC, tries to disguise herself in harem pants, messy hair, and glasses. Alas, TC is hot on her tail. Fail.Must. Have. Bag. Where did she get that?!?! It's amazing! :)
