Pinky's Fandance - Taye Diggs
My fave pic of the night might just be Taye Diggs - merely because he's on one of my fave shows, wearing pink, and, well, it's Taye Diggs. The guy is smoldering.

So, here's the thing (and it's only because we're so close that I can be brutally honest with you): I'm SO tired - it was a long, super fun night, but I don't have any time to get into all of that today. I know, I know. So....here's a fun pic from inside the show.

World's Worst Friend
By contrast, the biggest d-bag of the day was Matt LeBlanc, who apparently could give a crap less about his fans. He doesn't care if they've been waiting. Outside. In the cold. Forever. You're lucky if he even gives you a little wave.

Pinky's Fandance - Julie Benz
If there were a guidebook written for celebrity behavior, Julie Benz could write an entire chapter on How To Treat Your Fans. She is the epitome of kindness and grace. In fact, I was so overwhelmed by her, when she was walking away I immediately wanted to shout out, "Now THERE'S a class act!"

Bachelor Time Again
While we all know I love all things Bachelor, I haven't decided if I'm going to watch the new season. Don't worry, it's waiting for me on my DVR - but I was too busy actually meeting the man himself to watch it. :)
Let me say this about Brad Womack - the man smells a little bit like heaven. Seriously, I don't know what he wears for cologne, but it smells amazing! As for how he'll do this season, that remains to be seen. For now I'm just enjoying the fact that I had the chance to meet him. Yum!

Pinky's Fandance - Patricia Heaton
I've loved watching Patricia Heaton perform on Everybody Loves Raymond and now on the hysterical sitcom The Middle. She's funny, engaging, relatable, and endearing and on Twitter she's just like she appears on-screen. I enjoy reading her tweets because she's open and warm and just seems like a friend.
Yesterday I went to see her on a talk show and decided to tweet her when I arrived to let her know a few of us were there and to see if maybe we could get a pic? To my delight, she tweeted back to me with this:
What! What! Instant besties! When she arrived, she ran right over, even though she was in a hurry, and took pics with everyone there. I told her I'd tweeted her (as I hadn't read her reply at that point) and she said she knew (with a big smile on her face). When I got home, I sent her a tweet to thank her for the pic and said it was nice to meet her. This morning, to my surprise, she tweeted me again with this:

Yo, idiots -
Notice the lack of respect for you in my greeting. That's because I find your policies inane and ridiculous. The other day I tried to order a small to go item - half rice, half chow mein - and was told that this was against your "policy" (despite the fact that I've ordered this exact item a myriad of times in the past without any problem at all). I don't understand the logic behind this. Do the items not fit? Are they different prices? When I order it this way in the two item combo it's fine - why the discrimination for the to go order?

I Could Spot Him Anywhere
Last night we were watching our normal Sunday night programming when something amazing happened. My dad was fast forwarding the commercials, which included a spot for the upcoming episode of No Ordinary Family, when I saw something brilliant.
STOP STOP STOP! Go back! I yelled, like the crazy person I am.
There, on the screen, for literally two seconds (in regular time - and remember, I saw this in fast forward), was my true love forever, my number ONE, my super crush: Ricky Schroder.
Um, hello, I could spot him anywhere! I found these great shots from the episode where Ricky is saved by Michael Chiklis and then becomes friends with the family.
Could he be any cuter? Let's make this guest spot a regular gig - the only thing missing on TV these days is Ricky's face. I'm still impressed I saw him, but then again, who am I kidding? I'd recognize that spectacular face from miles away underwater with a mask on.

Pinky's Fandance - Joey King
In honor of my recent love affair with Ramona and Beezus, I thought today's Fandance would feature Ramona herself - Joey King.
Joey did an incredible job of bringing Ramona to life onscreen and in person she's as cute and sweet as can be. We ran into her on Hollywood Blvd. And she was adorable. I'm so glad I had a chance to meet her.

Ramona and Beezus
Growing up, there were very few things I loved more in this world (well, aside from boys, Barbies, rollerskating, Ricky Schroder, and Strawberry Shortcake) than reading. My mom would take us on weekly library adventures and I'd check out at least ten books at a time (the max you could check out).
One of my very favorite authors was Beverly Cleary and the "Ramona the Pest" books were sublime.
I'd be hard-pressed to pick a favorite Ramona book, but I know I read them all - probably several times. Ramona brought you into her imaginary world and you just fell in love with her hijinks and sense of adventure.
She was adorable and I had such a clear vision of her in my head. I was always afraid of a movie version, because I didn't think anyone could capture her whimsy or charm. Ramona was a pest and she was beloved and adored by girls the world over.
Although being initially leery of the movie, I'd been wanting to check out Ramona and Beezus. I'm so glad I did! Not only did they have a stellar cast, a great script, and heartwarming moments, but they did the impossible - they captured the spirit of Ramona. I LOVED the movie so much and even cried in several parts (did I mention I'm a big softie?) If you get a chance, see this film - with your daughter, your mother, your sister, your niece, or with a friend. I guarantee you'll fall in love with Ramona all over again.
