Orange is the New Binge

We binge-watched five episodes of Orange is the New Black last night and it's seriously just as good as ever. After an interesting start to the first episode, things started clicking and now we're totally loving what's going on.

Well, actually, we hate what's going on at the prison, but it does make for some really good programming. If you're a fan of the show, I highly recommend tuning in.

Pinky's Fandance - Michael Bowen

Another person I was really excited to meet from Valley Girl was Michael Bowen (he played the bully jock, Tommy). 

He was also in Kill Bill and Lost, so even Keith was super excited to see him! Really nice guy.

Top Five FAILS of the Day

One More Night!!!

Tomorrow night is Closing Night for Keith's play Desperately Seeking Love. Then, as soon as it closes he begins a new one called The Diary of Anna Francesca that plays in September. It's a busy time in the Coogan household!

As someone who has been to every performance, I can honestly say that I really loved this play and am so grateful for everyone who has come out to see it. I'm so proud of Keith and everything he's put into it - I'm so proud that I wanted to share it with all my loved ones. Huge thanks to those who came - your support means a lot. Happy Almost Closing Night, babe!

Pinky's Fandance - Heidi Holicker

As a HUGE fan of the movie Valley Girl, I was thrilled to finally meet "Stacey" herself, Heidi Holicker. What a total sweetheart!

Heidi played the best friend of the main girl on Valley Girl and did a great job. I can still hear her saying, "Fred!" and then Fred saying, "Staaaacey!"

The best part about our meeting was Heidi coming over to our table and telling Keith she had a crush on him back in the day! Love it!

Pinky's Fandance - Joel Higgins

Joel Higgins was the very first Silver Spoons cast member to be announced as a guest at the show months ago and I was SO excited just to meet him (adding Erin and Ricky just made it extra special!). I mean, he was Edward Stratton III after all!

What a great guy! So friendly! So cool! Exactly like you'd hoped he'd be! Score!

Quick Pit Stop to the MB Jam

A friend we'd made at Silicon Valley Comic Con invited us to a fancy charity event going on (of course) at the exact same time as the Hollywood Show. 

Luckily it was still going on for a bit when we were done, so we stopped by on our way home.

It was a bit of a cluster, but we got $200 gift cards for games and some pretty decent eats.

Nice pit stop (even though we were SO tired). Thanks, Q, for the invite!
