Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

That was really nice of Jerry Seinfeld to loan Claire the Pirate shirt from Seinfeld.

That wig looks really good on her! Why don't my pink wigs look that good?

We are completely and totally in love with Baby Groot. He's the cutest!

As you can see, Keith was super pumped after seeing the film.

Pinky's Fandance - Minnie Driver

I love Minnie Driver. She's the best. She consistently makes me laugh on TV and on Twitter and it's always lovely to see her in person.

Of course, my favorite Minnie Driver thing was probably About a Boy, but she's also incredible on Speechless. Love her so!

I can assure you that when I went to take this picture, Sammy was curled up like the cutest little ball of fur in the entire world.

I didn't realize the flash was still on and I think it might have spooked him a little bit. Poor little pumpkin.

Scotty's Birthday Dinner

Saturday night we headed to Benihana for dinner with friends for Scotty's upcoming birthday (his is the day before mine).

I'd actually never been to a Benihana, but as you probably know by now, I'm completely obsessed with all things teppanaki right now. And Benihana was good, but it wasn't quite as good as my beloved Yamato. Can't wait to return there!

Pinky's Fandance - Anthony Anderson

I've been lucky to meet Anthony Anderson several times over the years and he's always been super cool. This time was no exception.

Of course, it did take everything out of me not to blurt out something silly to him, but I'm happy to report that I held it together. Progress!

Nerdy McNerdleston

While at the bookstore the other night, of course I had to try on some of the pink reading glasses they had. How could I pass up such a lovely color?!?!

Truth be told, I always thought it would be super cool to wear glasses and was always a bit disappointed that I never had to. Along those lines, I always wanted a cast that people could sign, too, but I never managed to break a bone. Sigh. I should be happy about those things, right???

Top Five LOL Dogs of the Day

Stephen Tobolowsky's Book Signing

On Friday night we headed to Pasadena for Stephen Tobolowsky's book signing at Vroman's bookstore.

I'd been dying to meet him forever and we thought it would be a great idea to pick up a copy of the book as a birthday gift for our friend Scotty (who had a birthday dinner the next night).

As you can see, Keith was riveted by the material!

Stephen was an incredible speaker. I wanted him to read the whole book! There was a time during the reading that I thought we might end up keeping the book after all because it was so good.

Pinky's Fandance - Kathy Baker

Kathy Baker is the nicest person. Seriously, we just loved her. She happened to be sitting behind us at the book signing for Stephen Tobolowsky and was just as sweet as can be.

She's also fiercely talented and has been in so many amazing things!

It was an honor and a pleasure to meet her this weekend.

OK, I may have a new obsession: Blaze Pizza. Have you tried this delight?!?! YUM!!!

It's basically like a Subway for pizza - you can get a one topping, two topping, or unlimited toppings. Extra cheese is included! Different sauces are also included! Side of ranch? Included! Whoever created this place definitely knew what they were doing. It's a tasty delight! Will definitely return.
