Keith Coogan, Man of Many Talents

Just in case I don't praise my husband enough (read: every other second), I'd like to point out that he is a man of MANY different skills. And if he doesn't know how to do something, he'll learn. There's nothing on YouTube he can't master.

Case in point: My roots had grown out into a horrible mess. I never dyed them to begin with (like you're supposed to do), so they were really, really horrid. I don't really have a "before" picture (other than the pic below - but even that was before my roots took over my entire head....only a *slight* exaggeration), because I couldn't stand to look at my hair anymore.

But Keith did an amazing job at coloring it! First we did the roots and then we put in some pink - I only used the "Cotton Candy" pink because the other one was a little shocking. So far, so good! Thanks, babe!

Pinky's Fandance - Elliot Yamin

Elliott Yamin was on American Idol back when they didn't have stupid rules and ignored obvious talent (wait...I seem to be getting off track here....).

He was coming into the gifting suite the other day right as we were leaving, so I had to take a moment to get a picture with him. Kudos to Elliott for posing even after being drenched with rain.

Instagram Addict

Now that my Candy Crush time has been a bit halted (don't get me wrong, I still play, just not as much...), I find myself in need of things to do when my arms get tired of crocheting. I think I've found the solution...Instagram!

Seriously, people have told me how much I'd love it forever, but I'm just stubborn and had to come to it on my own. I don't like new things that I don't understand how to use, so even though I had an account and had used it once, I still didn't know how it worked.

As I couldn't sleep the other night, I fell into an Instagram wormhole, if you will, and suddenly figured everything out. Now I can't get enough.

Here's one of my pics - still makes me laugh every time I see it. Why couldn't I hold up my K correctly?

I love all the filters on Instagram, I just wish my pics would fit all the time. I feel like I have prime picture space being lost when I upload them. I'm probably doing something wrong.

Pinky's Fandance Flashback - Gwen Stefani

In honor of the illustrious and talented Gwen Stefani having her third baby last week, I thought we'd take a look back at the day she surprised us by showing up at a premiere. 

Not only did she come over and be hyper nice to fans, but a few of us even got pics!! :) SO stoked! I. Love. Her.

Gold Star for Pinky

Because I'm 100 40 years old now, I got my very first mammogram today. I know, I know, stop being jealous. 

The X-ray technician said I did very well for my first time. My only question? Where's my gold star?

I got a few of the cutest texts the other day.

The first one was from McH with this adorable pic of McP. The caption said, "Thinking of Pinky at the store." LOVE LOVE LOVE it! And, hello, Candy Crush snacks!? Can I haz some?

The second one was from my brother, Jay, with this quote, "Ava went shopping today. It would appear that she has her aunt's taste in clothing!" Love it! Do they have those in my size??? :)

Vincent Ward is on The Walking Dead and he has the same PR guy as Keith.

While I have yet to get hooked on the show (I hear it's GREAT!), I love meeting so many awesome cast members. It's got to have the friendliest cast of all.
