Just Like A Kid Again

McH decided last minute that she wanted to celebrate her big day by going out to a little fun park, Boondocks, to have pizza and ride bumper boats. Both McP and McI were on excitement overload and McB was about to have a meltdown after dealing with so many, um, intellectually-challenged people who worked there, but McH and I had a blast. The pizza was yummy, we took picture booth photos (my fave) and McP got to ride some rides and collect tickets. Super fun!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to the Thursday edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.Does anyone have an extra towel to spare? I seem to have some drool running down my face.
Even with the glasses on (usually my downfall), Justin Timberlake still looks like a major douchebag. You know, if Jennifer Love-Hewitt was so body-happy (as she claims to various magazines), wouldn't she pose without the blow-up pool toy blocking her midsection? I'm just saying.Well, if he *has* to wear a shirt, at least he's matching his shirt to his son. Cutest. Dad. Ever.
Now what did I do with that towel again? I feel more drool coming on.

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

For The Record

If anyone ever wrote an article about me with this as the headline, I'd be devastated. Sheesh, give the girl a break. This title is just harsh.

They Grow Up So Fast

With Phoenix turning nine yesterday, I started feeling nostalgic for when the kids were really little and pulled up some old pictures.
Oh, wait. This isn't Phoenix. This is Spenser when my sister and I decided to dress him up as a girl. Ooops. (Yes, we're evil - we used to dress up our baby brother as a girl, as well).
I need to show this picture to Spenser, as he thinks I only give piggy back rides to the little kids and can't remember when I was his own personal amusement park.
Awww. Now, there's Miss Phoenix as a baby. I swear she was just born. How's she getting so old?
One day I showed up to babysit and my brother-in-law had styled Spenser's hair like this. He's hardcore, no?
Disneyland on Christmas Day. I don't recommend it. Not the happiest place on earth.

I'm Going Back To Cali, Cali, Cali.....

As I mentioned the other day, big changes are definitely coming my way. I've been pondering moving to California for quite awhile now and when I was there I decided that there's no reason to keep putting it off. Job or no job, California, here I come! I'm quite excited about the move, although it's also terrifying. I've been here for a long time and I'm settled in my job, my routine, my apartment. But, I'm not happy here. My heart belongs in California - as I'll always be a California girl regardless of where I live. So, that's it - I gave notice to my landlord, I put in my two weeks at work, and I bought moving stuff to get the Pink Palace packed up. Crazy, right?!?!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Exactly how high are the lifts in TC's shoes? Come on, there is NO way he's the same height as Cameron - especially when she's in heels. I call B.S.
Gah. Tori's body is making my eyes bleed. Please eat.Somewhere out there, a window dressing is missing.I don't know about you, but I always dress up like Batgirl when eating a hot dog from a street vendor. That's just how I roll.
Can someone please bring me the stylist for The A-Team promos? Why are they making Bradley Cooper look so fug?!? Once again, he's got some hideous hair. What gives?

Top Five FAILS of the Day

Happy Birthday, McH!!!

Tomorrow is a very big day in these parts, as it's the one and only McH's birthday. Considering her "birthday week" officially started yesterday (and we sent McB out to get us some yummy treats to kick it off - thanks, McB!), I figured she'd be cool with the somewhat early shout-out. Now I need to go home and find the birthday gifts I was proactive about ordering....I'm afraid they may be temporarily lost in the Pink Palace. Not to fear, I'll find them....Happy birthday, McH!!!

Realistic State Signs

Am I Missing Something?

So, the last time I checked, Farmville was a fictional game played on Facebook where people tend to their cyber farms. Now, I've never understood exactly why anyone would find this exciting, but I know a lot of people are fans and I respect that. What I don't understand are signs like this hanging in 7-11 which offer me iced coffee "fresh from Farmville." Since when is a cyber farm able to whip up some fresh anything? I mean, why stop there? Can they whip me up some blueberries and a gallon of milk? That'd be great.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Do you think when they dress up for a Halloween party, they just dress down in normal clothes?
Is it just me, or did Matt Damon suddenly start looking a little bit fatherly? Would it have killed Jason Segel to shower and shave before presenting an award? I mean, really?Who is this homeless man and why is he waving at me?
Whoo....someone had their work cut out for them. It's not easy to make Bradley Cooper look less than fine. Did someone step on his head?

Top Five Postsecrets of the Day

Big Changes Ahead

Sometime very soon I'm going to be making some big announcements about the direction my pink life will be taking. Let's just say some big changes are coming in a very short time (read: by the end of this month). As scary as it is to decide to change everything, at the same time I know it's necessary and look forward to my new adventures.
