Celebrity Wrap Up, Wednesday Edition

Good morning and welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.Please Mom, hold me tight. Don't let that crazy man get a hold of me again. He terrifies me!I realize Erykah Badu's hair is her signature thing, but it's so awful. All I can think about is how badly it must smell. How would one wash such a mop?Teri Hatcher must have extraordinary balance. Otherwise, her enormous head would topple her right over.Shanna Moakler should not be making that face with a piece of gum in her mouth. Is she in Junior High?Um, excuse me, Zac Efron, but that straw hat is not doing much to hide your gay face. At least it's hiding your dirty hair.

Apparently I'm Blonde

After millions (read: 23) of years of being blonde, my hair appears to completely despise being red. It's completely rebelling and ridding itself of the red every chance it can. Look at it today. The blonde is just creeping out at the ends. It's possessed. I first noticed this phenomenon at Sundance when a random strand popped out and started rocking its blonde-ness (or, maybe I just wanted an excuse to post this picture....either way). Notice how much darker my hair was then (and it was just like two weeks ago). Freaking emotional hair. It must be hyper-sensitive and crazy like me. Oh, and no, I'm not wearing orange today. I don't know what's going on with the light. I've got a super cute Hello Kitty shirt on, actually. Don't be jealous. :)

Sometimes it's Unavoidable

I don't know if anyone else is like this, but sometimes I'm just a mean, rotten B word. Yeah, I said it (although why I'm editing the word when it's already displayed in the comic I'll never know). It's true. I am. Or, at least, I can be. If I'm tired, grumpy, stressed, what have you, get on my last nerve and you'll be sorry you did. I wish I had more power to control my bitchy self, but sometimes I just can't. My face gives me away. My tone gives me away. My rolling eyes give me away. Heck, I'm a mess. It's a good thing those that know me know not to take that stuff personally. Otherwise, I'd be in a world of pain all by my lonesome.

Pinky's Fandance - Tuesday Edition

A few years ago I was at the early morning screening of Friends with Money. As it had already premiered the night before, I wasn't really expecting to see anyone from the movie until the Q&A part when it was over. So, when I saw Jason Isaacs in the audience, I couldn't tell if I knew him or not. You know when you see people and you can't remember if you know them, or if you've seen them, or if they're famous? With him, he was so normal looking, I really couldn't tell. And then I remembered - not only was he the bad guy on The Patriot, but he was Malfoy's dad on the Harry Potter movies. Of course! So, I asked him for a picture and then created total chaos, as after I recognized him the entire audience jumped up and mobbed him. Ooops. I tend to do that sometimes.

It's Mine - ALL Mine!!!

I can't believe I forgot to talk about this last week, but Friday was my VERY LAST car payment. How exciting is that? Now my little baby car is mine free and clear. Hooray! It's a very nice feeling to be free of the dreaded car payment. Perhaps I can take the money I was paying towards the car and jazz up the color a little...perhaps make it more pink? :)

Celebrity Wrap Up, Tuesday Edition

Welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. I thought we'd mix it up today by posting a series of, "So-and-so called and wants that back" jokes. Well, you'll see what I mean.
Hey TC - John Travolta called and wants his suit back from Saturday Night Fever.
Hi Anne Hathaway - Your grandmother called and wants her dress back.
Hey John Mayer - the Flasher down the street called and wants his jacket back.
Hi Tori Spelling - Farrah Fawcett called and wants her entire look back.
Hey Jessica Simpson - Will Smith called and would like his hat back from The Legend of Bagger Vance. Oh, and did you turn your dog into boots?

Does Anyone Have a Heart to Spare?

Isn't it funny how our hearts want what they want, regardless of whether we're on board or not? Granted, I'm definitely on board with the direction my heart is going in, I'm just afraid I'm in for a world of hurt. I know, I may just be overreacting (who, me?), but I do want to be guarded. Does anyone happen to know how I can be open and guarded at the same time? How do these things ever work? Is there a class I can take? I think those of us who are Relationship Challenged should have some sort of schooling available at a discounted rate. Of course, I don't know what's going to happen and I'm having a blast, so that's what I should be focusing on, right? Enjoy the ride, stop stirring up drama, and keep smiling...yep, that's what I'm planning to do. Oh wait. Maybe I need to stop planning, too. See, I'm a mess! :)

Why Does This Make Me Laugh?

I know, I know, I should be shot for saying so, but this Michael Phelps scandal makes me laugh. I mean, seriously, what kind of Olympic superstar idiot takes a bong hit and thinks no one will secretly be taking pictures with their phones? I'd be all over that if I were in the room with him. I'd be handing him the bong and then getting out my iPhone. Oops. Did I say that out loud? Just kidding. I'd never be an accomplice to such travesty!

Pinky's Fandance - Monday Edition

If I've learned anything from my years as a celebrity aficionado, it's that everything is about timing. Sometimes if you're patient, an opportunity will present itself where you can get one-and-one with someone without fighting all the crowds. This was evident this year when my friend Hiba wanted a picture with Paris (I can't remember her last name) and she was mobbed all over Main Street. However, a little while longer, we saw her down the hill by herself and Hiba was finally able to get her picture. Hooray!A few years ago, I had the same experience when I met Wilmer Valderama. I was hanging out in a nearby establishment when a car drove up and Wilmer got up. My friend Sara and I eagerly ran over to him for a picture and he was so sweet and kind. Plus, I love how dreamy he looks in the picture (almost like we're a hot couple). He should give some tips to his douchebag friend Ashton on how to treat fans.

Is It Wrong That I'm Excited?

This morning on the radio I heard a pitch for an upcoming double-header show featuring MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice. Is it wrong that this fascinates me and I might actually want to go? Of course, my favorite thing about the promo ads is that they're using pictures at least 20 years old. Gotta love it.

Celebrity Wrap Up, Monday Edition

Good morning and welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.To the untrained eye, this *might* look like a little happy family. However, if you look closely, you'll see Katie frantically searching for an escape method. Oh, look. My Dita Von Teese dress-up doll has a new outfit to play with. Hooray!Somebody call the Fashion Police stat! Hayden Panetierre seems to have broken into Lindsay Lohan's house and stolen her leggings and her Hefty lumberjack shirt. Poor thing.Britney Spears first item of business as a parent? Enrolling her son in a "How To Be A Thug" training class. Nice.Sloppy, thy name is Mischa Barton. Are those acid washed jeans?

Passive Aggressive Sunday

From http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/: These ones are cracking me up.Ouch, apparently someone doesn't like to be un-friended on Facebook.Who sends out passive aggressive holiday cards? That's just too much!

Too Much TV

I am so behind on my shows I'm afraid I'm never going to catch up. It was so nice to see that my Thursday night shows were repeats; otherwise I would've just missed them all. I've got so many hours of recorded TV from my time up in Park City that I fear I'll never catch up. Combine that with the fact that I've been spending all my free time with one person in particular and I'm really going to have a lot of TV to catch up on someday. At this point I'm thinking I should just forget it and try to catch up in the summer. Or, not at all. It's just TV, right?

Pinky's Fandance - Sunday Edition

Several years ago I was walking Main St. with my friend Sara when we came across a Monkee himself, Mickey Dolenz. Having been a big fan of The Monkees (and their subsequent TV shows), I was incredibly excited. Apparently he's on the producing side of things now and was incredibly friendly and talked to us for awhile.Of course, my favorite Monkee was always Davy Jones (remember when he was on The Brady Bunch and kissed Marsha on the cheek??), but any Monkee was good for me. :)

Celebrity Wrap Up, Sunday Edition

Hello and welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.Now, one would think that since I love Lisa Loeb, animal print, and pink that I would be more appreciative of this ensemble. However, I'm afraid this might be the only thing of Lisa Loeb's that I'm not a fan of.I'm not sure which part of Chris Brown's attire is more gay - the blue heart on his shirt, his Hello Kitty pink watch, or his pink shoelaces? Apparently going out with Rihanna is turning him soft.Oh, Jessica, sweetie. Your pants, in both of these situations, are a world of no. Please hire a stylist soon. You really need to pull it together.Poor little Suri. Look at her cries for help. It's almost as though you could hear her screams, "Please help me! Save me from this looney tunes who's passing himself as my father! I'm being kidnapped! Amber Alert!!"I think this is the first time I've ever seen Max Lion, Christina Aguilera's son, up close and personal. And, since I was taught to say nothing when you have nothing nice to say, I have nothing to say about this picture.
