I ended up sitting next to his wife in my Fitness for Living class and we became friends (before I even knew who she was married to). Ty came to our class dressed up as Santa Claus around Christmas and I was able to get a picture with him, as well as some signed posters for my brothers.

Pinky's Fandance, Monday Edition
When I started at BYU, Ty Detmer had just won the Heisman trophy in football. I'm not a huge sports fan by any means, but it was still kind of cool. I ended up sitting next to his wife in my Fitness for Living class and we became friends (before I even knew who she was married to). Ty came to our class dressed up as Santa Claus around Christmas and I was able to get a picture with him, as well as some signed posters for my brothers.
