Why does a Monday off work feel so much better than a weekend or even taking a day off work? There's just something about having a long weekend that seems to make everything better. Did I do anything exciting? No, I did not. Did I accomplish any of the myriad of goals I've set for myself? No, I did not. Did I finally get my place organized and cleaned? No, I did not. But, I did get my laundry done, took some great naps, spent a lot of time with my cute boy, and saw some good friends. Really, what else can anyone ask for? The rest will work itself out, right?
