Pinky's Year in Review - Part One

I've seen this on a few other blogs and thought it would be a fun little recap. So, in honor of the brand new year, I present a few highlights of 2008 (this post will be January through June). The best thing about January, as always, was Sundance. I had a banner year of celebrity photos, but none as exciting as meeting Meg Ryan. I can't believe I didn't pass out when I held her hand (yes, I held her hand, so what?). In February, I started seeing Biter, had a little surgery, and went to see Joshua Radin and Ingrid Michaelson with my Dad (which was awesome)In March I babysat McP for the first time, started going to a quilting class, started walking a few miles a day, and changed jobs in my company.In April I went to see comedian Josh Blue (he won "Last Comic Standing") and had a kidney infection.

May was an extremely busy month for me. First off, I went to see my beloved Duran Duran in Arizona with my sister.

Then, my cute boys came to visit from Florida, I had a birthday party, I flew to California to attend my friend DK's wedding with my friend Joe, and then met my Sundance boys at Pink's in LA.

When I got back, I had my actual 35th birthday, started this blog, and then for my REAL birthday present...meeteing my TLF Ricky Schroder (!!!). Hooray! :) All my dreams have come true.

The month ended with a Girl's Weekend in Park City with my college friends and a trip to see my BFF in Washington.

June was another busy month. At the beginning of the month, I met 28 and adopted Galoon.

Then, my dad and I went to Cinevegas and I was able to meet Jared Leto.

The next weekend I went to LA for my friend Ashkan's wedding in Catalina and was able to see my brother's family before the ceremony.

After the wedding, I went to Arizona to see George Michael in concert with my sister and then the next week went to see Ingrid Michaelson with Ruthie and Galoon.
