Today I spent the day with my Mom in Spanish Fork. We did laundry (
read: she did my laundry...don't judge me...as she's much better at it than I am), did lunch, went shopping, and found many a great bargain (a purse, some craft supplies, some Bath & Body treasures, and a Victoria's Secret bag - which they forgot to "de-tag" so we kept setting off sensors all over the mall...nice). My favorite find of all? This adorable flamingo finger puppet (which, of course, talks when I wear it). My Mom seems to think that
between the talking flamingo finger puppet and my pink monkey, Galoon, it's "no wonder" I'm still single (!). :) Tee hee hee. Once we were done with shopping, we came back and watched
Ghost Town and
The Duchess, which were both great movies. My favorite picture of the day was when my Mom tried to take a photo at lunch. We may have discussed this before, but for whatever reason, she's always been unable to center a photo. All my childhood pictures look like this. It cracks me up. :) All in all, it was a really fun day and I'm glad I was able to spend it with her. Thanks for the great time! :)
